MYSORE RACES 05.09.2013

President's Rule looks good, but, in the absence of track work after the last run which was almost a month ago I advise better to avoid. Having said that I dont mean try and find another horse to back. I feel it is better not to back President's Rule and even better not to back abnyother horse against it too.

A thumb rule race and to be avoided.

Ensatus Elegans and Hatchet Harry should fight it out. I personally will go for Hatchet Harry for the reason that it will be guided by a superior jockey.

1.HATCHET HARRY    2. Ensatus Elegans

Alizadeh and Party Tonite should fight it out. However, Party Tonite does not seem to be a genuine horse. Two runs of it are never similar. The connections of Alizadeh on the other hand look to be seriuously interested as the horse has given two gate practices after being troublesome at the gates in its kast start and was wuthdrawn.

1.ALIZADEH    2.Party Tonite

Nabisco is still unbeaten in the tree starts it had. It has been sparingly raced too. I think it can be easily made the best bet of the day today.

1.NABISCO    2.Jersey Girl

Shivalik Star, Secret Punch and Quick Enough seem to be the main contenders here. A thumb rule race. But, still, I feel that Shivalik Star is superior to the bunch and I am going to back it today.

1.SECRET STAR    2. Quick Enough    3. Secret Punch

Pursuit of Fame, Mannat and Cadogan are the main contenders here. I for one am unable to pinpoint any positives in favor of any of the three runners. Make your pick from the three.

Azetic Star has only disappointed till date, but, still looking at the bloodlines I feel like giving it another and a final last chance today. Priceless Ace is bred to stay and had a very good educative run first time out on the last day of the Bangalore season. It finished a good third from way back in a sprint race. It is half brother to Southern Bay a classic winner. If Azetic star continues to run as it had then it should be easy for Priceless Ace.

1. Priceless Ace     and Azetic Star.

Knowledge, Historica and Aerial Acrobat may fight it out. I personally do not fancy any horse here. But, if I do take a chance I might take it on Aerial Acrobat as Arshad Alam an in form apprentice and allowance claiming jockey who has been regularly riding winners has been engaged.
