MYSORE RACES 19.09.2013

A thumb rule race, better to be avoided.

This race too is a thumb rule race and to be avoided.

Cationic, in the last Mysore season had placed second to Virat in a 40-65 race wherein it was rated 58, a point above Virat. Earlier, in the Mysore summer season it won a 1400 m race in the category 40-65. Virat is rated at 108 today and has a chance of winning. Cationic on the other hand has been brought down to a rating of 35 and with the allowance claiming apprentice will run effectively at 31. CATIONIC should be a good bet today.

Here again there is a horse which has been cleverly brought down the handicap. Indian Bolt wonthe Maharajas Cup  in the last Mysore Season wherein it was rated at 102 and Color Me was rated at 81 in the same race.Color Me finished 12 and a half lengths behind Indian Bolt. Today Color Me is at 95 and Indian Bolt is at 94. Indian Bolt should run well today.

The turn of foot shown by Keukenhoh last time suggests it is made for bigger things and the time it has cut was outstanding. I think you can maKE KEUKENHOF   your best bet of the day.

Smokey Sid, Cheval D'or, Flash Time and Czar Rule are in with a chance. I for won am unable to pin point any one of them. Make ur choiceamongst these horses.

All For Cash and April Showers should fight it out. there is very little between them and running of the race and a little bit of luck will decide the winner. Having said that, I feel the superior riding of Suraj Narredu mey tilt it in favour of April Showers. I feel this race will be good for a box forecast.

1. April Showers   2. All for cash

Coffee Time looks to be a cut above the rest and I feel will not get beat today. Here, I want to share an observation of mine. I have observed that more often than not after an owner dies, immediately his horse wins. Shri D Kumar Siddanna the owner of Coffee Time has passed away recently. I think we cam make COFFEE TIME another good bet for the day.

Days Best: KEUKENHOF

Good Double: CATIONIC AND COFFEE TIME
