Again the day starts with a thumb rule race. However, if we just look at the record of all the four runners, Shaam Sunder has won only once at a rating of 8 and today runs at 23. Vaani has won twice at a rating of 9 and then at 6 and today runs at 22. Eros also has won twice at 18 and 24 and today runs at 20. Compared to these Beethoven has won 5 times first at a rating of 20 then at 24 next at 38 then at 41 and finally at 52 which was in August last year. Today it runs at a rating of 20. An avoidable race.
Another thumb rule race and to be avoided.
Xavier won its last race (beating Irish Connection sqarely at level weights, who on Derby day has won a 41-65 race very easily with I Khan in the saddle) in January this year a 40 - 65 race at a rating of 51 and was ridden by Imran Chisty. This horse has been cleverly brought down in scales and I feel with Imran Chisty in saddle should not find difficult to tackle this lot. My bet is on for win on Xavier.
Chhundu and Gorgeous Girl look to be the main contenders here and I personally feel that Gorgoeous Girl might win.
Dont be fooled by the poor mock race of Blue Lightning as I feel the main purpose of the mock was to make the horse get in and out of the gates as of the three runs in its career it was withdrawn twice at the gates. I feel the race is over bar the shouting for Blue Lightning and a win bet is on.
Iverness out of its seven starts till date has won thrice and placed second twice. It has had a very impressive mock race and has also been tracking well. Adabella also has 4 wins and 1 second from 8 starts. These two should fight it out. You can make your choice between these two.
Good Looking and Bucharest both imports from western india look cut above the rest but the choice of jockeys on both the horses does not inspire any confidence.
My bets for the day 1. Xavier for win and 2. Blue Lightning for win
